Description:
The Salybay Beach is situated at about one and half mile on the Galera road to the Toco Lighthouse, lots of people visit this beach which has beautiful areas for bathing, picnicing, fishing, playing a game of small goal, windball cricket or just relaxation, thats the good part. The bad part is that the beach is not developed so as to accomodate the number of people who visit the area on a regular basis, thus making it impossible to keep the beach at its natural beauty, however URP has put in place two gangs namely; Beach Gang 3 and Beach Gang 4, with the Mario Eco cepep gang taking care of the bushes and shrubs to help keep this place remain as beautiful as possible. The people of Toco and environs will be very grateful if the Goverment could acquire this beach front and have it deveolped in such a way so as to creat employment for the people of this area.
Judging from the amount of people that frequent the beach on weekends and more so on long holidays, this place could be very much self-sustaining.
